LAWSUIT LOAN DISCLAIMERS & CLARIFICATIONS
Terminology
The public generally refers to our financial
product as a “Lawsuit Loan” and therefore we market
to the public using that phrasing. This explains why we do
business as www.Get-Lawsuit-Loan.com.
However, technically and legally, our financial
product is a “lawsuit
advance” and NOT a loan.
We are actually buying an interest in the successful future outcome of
your case. Or another way of putting it, we are
buying a portion of your future settlement. And from your
perspective, you are selling a portion of your future settlement
proceeds to us. Therefore the contracts we issue are actually
purchase agreements, where you the client will be referred to as the
Seller and we are the Buyers.
The following terms all mean essentially the same
and are often used interchangeably:

Litigation Loan

Pre Settlement Loan

Lawsuit Advance

Pre Settlement Advance

Within our industry, we tend to NOT
use any of the terminology referring to loans and prefer the
terminology of advances, funding, and finance, as they are more legally
accurate. This also explains when talking about our fees and
costs, we prefer to use the term “growth factor” to
describe percentages. We try not to use the term
“interest rates”. As interest rates are
more traditionally associated with loans.
Some other phrasing:
“Attorney” is equivalent to
“Lawyer”
The “Plaintiff” is the person
who filed the complaint, i.e. the person who is trying to get a wrong,
righted. Almost always, the Plaintiff is our
client. We typically do not fund Defendants.
The “Defendant” is the person
being sued by the Plaintiff. They are the one who allegedly
victimized the Plaintiff.
Timelines
Regarding our tag line of “cash for your
lawsuit in 7 days or less”. The fastest we have
funded clients in the past has been 2 days. And we often fund
clients in 7 days or less.
However, the “catch” depends
upon how cooperative your attorney is. If your attorney is
un-cooperative, slow, or too busy to provide requested documents then
funding your lawsuit advance may take longer than 7 days. In
some cases where the attorney will not cooperate we cannot fund the
case at all.
